Knights Volleyball Season Update
The SPX Knights are battling hard this volleyball season, with exciting competition across all grade levels. As of now, our teams have combined for 24 wins. The Boys 5A and 7A squads are both off to strong starts, each holding a 67% win rate, while Boys 7B is right behind at 57%. Our Girls 8A team is also making waves, earning four wins and playing tough in every match.
While some of our younger squads continue to build experience, every team is showing grit, growth, and school spirit on the court. Across the program, the Knights have racked up 2,740 points scored and continue to represent SPX with “Strength in Faith, Pride in Play.”
It’s here — one of the biggest nights of the year at St. Pius X… the 8th Grade Volleyball Blackout! This long-standing tradition celebrates our graduating 8th grade Knights as they take the court at home one last time.

This isn’t just another game night — it’s a can’t-miss SPX tradition where our entire community comes together to honor our athletes. Parents of players, alumni, friends, and families — we want every seat filled, every voice cheering, and every Knight feeling the pride of SPX behind them.
Let’s light up the gym… by blacking it out!
Once a Knight, Always a Knight!
